DSC is the Canadian brand name of choice for professional installers. This DSC hybrid wired and wireless starter kit supports up to 8 wired zones/sensors and comes with a wired keypad with built-in wireless receiver, allowing expansion using wireless fobs or sensors.

The keypad included in this kit is a full message keypad, allowing for zone/sensor naming as well as aiding in programming.

Additional wired zones can be added, 8 at a time to a maximum of 32 wired zones using the PC5108 zone expander(s).

This alarm system can be professionally monitored or can be self monitored by reporting to a regular telephone or pager using a standard telephone line.

This system combines a very small wireless camera with a digital wireless receiver allowing for remote monitoring without running wires. Just plug the camera and receiver AC power adapters in to nearby electrical outlets - no extra wiring needed. The receiver does not record but can be connected via RCA cable to a TV or to a DVR, VCR or SM-HOMEDVR for recording.

Designed to be easy to operate and easy to install, this kit is very do-it-yourself friendly. In comparison to the traditional analog wireless technology running on 900MHz, 2.4GHz, and 5.8GHz, the 2.4GHz digital wireless technology provides three key advantages; stronger signal strength which provides longer transmission distance (indoor/clear-line-of-sight: up to 200ft/350ft v.s.100ft/300ft), digital signal which is interference free from crowded wireless analog devices (Wi-Fi routers, Bluetooth devices, cordless/cell phones, and other digital wireless band), and privacy which is worry free of signal interceptions from your neighborhood.

This is a do-it-yourself friendly wireless security system designed for home users who wish to protect their homes by self-monitoring via telephone rather than paying monthly monitoring fees. When the alarm is triggered it will call up to 9 telephone number(s) and play your pre-recorded message to notify the homeowner, friends or family of the emergency. Installation and programming is very simple and user friendly making it perfect for anyone.

The kit includes the main alarm system keypad which is generally mounted near the entrance location and needs only access to power. This keypad is the 'main brains' of the alarm and also houses the loud siren. An additional external siren can be added.

The second piece is the dialer that can be hidden away and connects to the home phone line. During an emergency the main alarm unit sends a wireless signal to the dialer instructing it to call the programmed number(s). Since the dialer can be hidden away from the main keypad, it's protected from casual disabling.
