Mid Island Towing Towing is looking to add to our towing family in the Nanaimo area.

We are currently looking for a hard working & professional Emergency Roadside Assistance driver.

We are a locally family owned 24-hour operation that has been serving Nanaimo and Vancouver Island for over 40 years.

- Drivers must have a professional attitude, be able to work alone as well as in a team setting.
- Must be able to work shift work.
- Ability to follow directions is a must.
- Have at least a Class 5 driver’s licence.
- Driver will maintain a clean and organized truck and appearance
- Have the ability to lift upwards of 50 pounds.
- Mechanical aptitude and towing experience is an asset but not a must; we will train the right applicant.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
- basic troubleshooting of minor issues at breakdown,
- vehicle towing, performing recoveries,
- roadside assistance including unlocks, battery boosts, tire changes, etc.

For many years Mid Island Towing has been a proud sponsor of the Loyal Nanaimo Bathtub Society, we are the means for the World's Biggest Bathtub to get where it needs to go, whether it is multiple parades, to the repair shop for maintenance or even launching it for Race day! We are always happy to continue to support our local events as we love to be community involved. We would love to thank The Loyal Nanaimo Bathtub Society for always counting on us to be there for them and another thank you to Tamara Kronis for the special recognition this year from the Parliament of Canada as that was very appreciated as well!

Small little event at Bayview Elementary School in town. We got invited down by the school PAC at Bayview to come down and join their little touch a truck show.

It was a beautiful day at Cottonwood Golf course yesterday for the Annual Harmac Golf Tournament to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis. We partnered up with Steele Gorosh from Gorosh Cranes for the afternoon who is a valued customer of ours as well. All in all a great day and we were very happy to sponsor a hole to help out but most of all extremely happy to continue being an active part of the community and all it does!
