No hot water can throw off the whole house.

Showers, dishes, laundry, getting everyone ready....suddenly normal routines become harder.

But no hot water does not automatically mean you need a new system.

There are a few safe things you can check first.

Our hot water expert explains where to start and when it may be time to get help.

You do not need to diagnose the problem yourself.

You receive two hot water installation quotes.

One is noticeably cheaper.

The first question should not only be, “W𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘴 𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴?”

It should also be, “W𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘮 𝘐 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘦?”

The equipment may look similar while the work included in each quote is very different.
Our hot water expert explains what to look at so you can compare the actual installation - not just the number at the bottom.

Why does Hot Tanks use professional press technology?

It lets us make many copper connections without an open flame and helps create clean, consistent connections.

For you, that can mean less flame, smoke, and burnt-flux smell inside your home, while still allowing the connection to be prepared, supported, and tested properly.

The tool does not replace good workmanship. It simply gives the technician another professional way to make the right connection for the situation.

TRUST Certified technicians are verified against Hot Tanks standards for areas including identity, safety, communication, environmental responsibility, and professionalism.

Congratulations, Jason(Jay)! We’re proud to have you representing Hot Tanks in our clients’ homes.

Wondering how much it usually costs to replace a hot water tank in Nanaimo?

A useful ballpark range is about $𝟭,𝟵𝟵𝟱–$𝟰,𝟱𝟳𝟱 before tax for a standard hot water tank replacement.

The final price depends on your home, the system, access, and what the installation actually requires.

The important part is knowing what is included before you approve the work.

CHEER is one of the ways we make time to recognize the people behind the work.

We get together, celebrate the wins, reflect on the effort that went into them, and recognize TEAM members who have gone the extra mile. Sometimes that means a little sweet treat too😅

And it always starts with a CHEER moment.

From the website to the first phone call, Diana said the experience felt professional, clear, and well coordinated.

She saw a TEAM that worked together, communicated well, and gave her confidence in the choice she was making.

Chantele says Jersie is amazing, and together they’ve created a fresh new aesthetic at London Coast.

Their different styles work beautifully together, and you can feel that when you step into the space.

If you’re in downtown Nanaimo, stop by London Coast and see what they’ve created together.
