♥️ EQUINENIMITY - Connect To What Elevates You.

This photo was taken in Argentina at a very special moment when I got to assist the lead gaucho (Argentinian Cowboy) to collect a herd of horses from a pasture and bring them back to the ranch. From galloping through the fields and down the road with the whole herd thundering around us to communicating non-stop with the gaucho in my very broken Spanish and somehow understanding each other the entire time, this experience is one that still elevates me to this day. I simply need to remember how it felt in that moment to be so connected to a herd I had just met and so in tune with everything around me - and I am instantly uplifted and returned to that state. The photo helps too!

It is important to identify the moments in our lives that uplift us, so we can allow them to continue to uplift us whenever we need them. Think about this for yourself…remind yourself of such a time in your life and share it here. Would love to hear what moments have lifted you up in life!

I love this quote because it calls you back to yourself:

I’ve had plenty of moments where I forgot that.

Where I looked outside myself for certainty:
another plan, another opinion, another “right way,” another green light.

But the truth is… the real shift never came from the outside.

It came when I decided:
- I’m done waiting.
- I’m done shrinking.
- I’m done handing my power away.

Because the force is your ability to:
- choose clarity when everything feels noisy
- hold your standards when it would be easier to people-please
- keep going when motivation disappears
- be the leader of your own life

Most people aren’t stuck.
They’re diffused.

Here’s the mental model:
You have 10 steps to take.

10 steps in 10 directions = movement without momentum
10 steps in 1 direction = compounding progress

Same effort. Different outcome.

Singular focus isn’t about doing less forever.
It’s about choosing a direction long enough for it to produce results.

In business, “focus” typically shows up as:

fewer priorities
clearer decision filters
disciplined ex*****on rhythms
and saying “not now” without guilt

If you feel busy but not advancing, the question isn’t “what else should we do?”
It’s: What should we stop doing so we can go all-in on the one thing that actually moves the needle?

Most people think my obsession with clarity came from business school.

It didn’t.

It started when I was nine years old, running from school to my mom’s hair salon… where I learned to “listen to the unsaid” and watch what happens when someone feels seen.

Every morning she’d say a version of:
“It’s a beautiful day to make life better… who will you wow and delight today Isabelle?”

That salon taught me something I still believe is the difference between brands that scale… and brands that stall:

If people don’t get you, they can’t value you.

That’s the heartbeat of my work (and honestly, my life):
Clarity sells. Confusion kills.
