Teamwork makes the dream work. 💪🚒

The Fire Truck Pull is this weekend, and while there will be awards for Fastest Pull, Most Money Raised, and Best Team Spirit, the truth is that no one moves a fire truck alone (well... very few!) It takes people pulling together.

That's what makes this event special. Teams from different workplaces, organizations, service clubs, and community groups coming together to support causes they care about. Some are pulling for healthcare. Some for veterans. Some for children. Some for hospice care. Some for training and education.

Different causes. One community.

Whether your team is aiming for the fastest time or just hoping to make it to the finish line with a smile, every team is helping make a difference.

We've got another team joining the 2026 Fire Truck Pull!

Please welcome Fort Glass!

Led by Chris Pritchard, this team of coworkers is pulling in support of the Napanee Interval House, an organization that provides safety, support, and resources to individuals and families experiencing violence and abuse.

The Napanee Interval House plays a vital role in our community, offering emergency shelter, advocacy, counselling, and support services for those who need them most. Their work helps create safer futures and stronger communities for countless individuals and families across our region.

When asked what they were most excited about, the Fort Glass team had a simple answer: Team Spirit. And we love that.

The Fire Truck Pull isn't just about strength. It's about teamwork, community, and showing up for a cause you believe in.

The QR code for the directory is being added to the new Greater Napanee map, which will be heading out to hotels, local businesses, and visitor spots ASAP.

That means locals and visitors will be able to scan the map and find farm stands across Greater Napanee for fresh produce, flowers, eggs, honey, maple syrup, baked goods, preserves, plants, and other local farm stand offerings.

For 100 years, Rotary Club of Napanee, Ontario has shown what it means to put Service Above Self into action.

Their work has supported local projects, strengthened community spaces, brought people together, and helped make Greater Napanee a better place to live. In this milestone year, Rotary is not only looking back on a century of impact — they are continuing to invest in the future of our community.

Their commitment to help fund a covered space at Market Square is a meaningful gift that will support farmers, vendors, events, gatherings, and community connection for years to come.

Rotary’s legacy is built through the people who keep showing up: the volunteers, organizers, fundraisers, leaders, and neighbours who believe that communities grow stronger when people choose to serve.

We've got another team joining the 2026 Fire Truck Pull!

Please welcome the Hat Trick Heroes & Mic Check Champions!

This team brings together two local organizations that know a thing or two about community spirit: Hustle & Heart 88.7 myFM and the Napanee Raiders .

They're pulling in support of Hospice Lennox & Addington , helping raise funds and awareness for an organization that provides comfort, compassion, and care to local individuals and families facing life-limiting illness.

Everyone knows someone whose life has been touched by hospice care. Hospice Lennox & Addington supports people during some of life's most difficult moments while helping families navigate the challenges that come with them — all with dignity, respect, and compassion close to home.

This team is pulling for local families, for compassionate care, and for a stronger community.
