🌭 The tent collapsed. 🌭 The rain poured. 🌭 But The hot dogs persevered.

Despite a dramatic start that included a flash thunderstorm and a flattened tent, our National Hot Dog Day Community BBQ Fundraiser turned out to be an amazing day.

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we served more than 100 hot dogs, raised funds for Feed Nova Scotia, enjoyed some fantastic Beaver Bites courtesy of The Baked Beaver Bakery, and spent the afternoon connecting with friends, neighbours, and local organizations.

The sunshine returned, the grill stayed hot, and the giant hot dog roaming Temperance Street successfully completed its mission of directing people to the bbq.

Thank you to everyone who donated, participated, volunteered, or simply stopped by to say hello.

You made the day something special. ❤️🌭

Rain, rain go away - please don't ruin 🌭

Our Community BBQ Fundraiser in support of Feed Nova Scotia starts in 1 hour pending the rain storm.

The hot dogs are ready, we are ready, and thanks to our friends at The Baked Beaver Bakery , we'll also have delicious Beaver Bites available while supplies last. 🍩

But a community coming together can make a real difference.

This Wednesday, Velsoft is hosting a pay-what-you-can National Hot Dog Day Community BBQ in support of Feed Nova Scotia. We're inviting everyone to stop by for lunch, make a donation if they're able, and help support Feed Nova Scotia, an organization working every day to address hunger across Nova Scotia.

To celebrate Earth Day, the Velsoft and Ignite Atlantic team spent the morning participating in the Pictou County Go Clean Get Green initiative.

We’re proud to call this community home, and we believe that contributing to its well-being starts right in our own backyard.

It’s amazing what a small group can accomplish with some grabbers, trash bags, and a bit of teamwork.
