Co-parenting is one of the toughest parts of being a parent. Having your kids for 2 weeks at a time and then having to hand them over to the other parent.
It never gets any easier.
So when my daughter announced that she wanted to do a movie with me AND her dad and felt like she was torn in two.. my heart was broken. ๐
But thankfully for her sake we were able to agree on solving this problem all go together.
Iโve never heard her so relieved. Like a whole weight had been lifted..
She should never have to worry about making those decisions. She didnโt choose to have her parents live separate lives.
So whenever these things come up, whatever your differences, doing what matters to them is the most important part. No matter how uncomfortable.
Anyone else in this season and struggle with co-parenting at times?
