It's been a while my friends, I hope you have all been keeping well 💜. I felt the need to do some baking, I made these chocolate chip cookies from Buns In My Oven...needless to say, they were a hit...baking has always been comforting & a stress reliever for me...give this recipe a try, you won't be disappointed 😋

I had a great visit at the Marques Family Farm! Picked up some in season sour cherries & a vegetable I've never tried before, the pattypan, a type of zucchini...

The mantra these days is use what you have...I roasted some beets that I picked up on my last trip to the grocery store. I made a vinaigrette with what I had in the pantry, added some arugula, pine nuts and burrata cheese. Despite the changes I made to the original recipe, it turned out great! Don't be afraid to experiment! Many of us have the time to get out of our cooking comfort zone. Stay safe and healthy my friends 💜

Today's throwback Tuesday is going back to my first stay at the Wynn hotel. I really enjoyed the Mongolian beef with rice...just the right level of spice for me...an outstanding restaurant and a beautiful resort! Can't wait to visit again

It has been a very busy 2020 thus far my friends! I've missed all of you, so I figured my first post of the decade would feature one of the best burgers I've ever had! The "billionaire burger" was outstanding! Featuring wagyu beef, foie gras, a port onion marmalade, frisee and truffle mayo, paired with fries...an outstanding meal! Get yourselves to the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas and treat yourself, you won't regret it!

Today's flashback Friday goes back to my wonderful birthday dinner with my family! I had the stuffed lobster pasta...it was paired with a glass or two 😊 of J. Lohr Chardonnay 2017 an amazing evening with some wonderful people!

I had such a great time at midnight madness last night. Thank you to MP Jamie Schmale for sharing the delicious raspberry cheesecake from Cake by the Lake in town with me... Can't wait to visit and see all of the options available!
