The Township of Nipigon Fire Ban has been lifted, effective immediately, in alignment with the current direction from the Province of Ontario.

Residents and visitors may resume open-air burning, provided all applicable provincial and municipal requirements are followed.

🔥 What does this mean?
With the Fire Ban lifted:
• Campfires and recreational fires are permitted, subject to applicable regulations.
• Outdoor fire pits and fireplaces may be used in accordance with Township requirements.
