We had a great day kicking off this year’s Summer Company program with a full day of in-person workshops!

Our program participants spent their PD Day joining us from various places across our catchment area — North Bay, Parry Sound, Whitney, Lavigne, and Almaguin.

Throughout the day, we explored:

• Entrepreneurial Skills & Leadership Mindset (with Kerby Stivene setting off the day with some excitement and inspiration!)
• Pricing & Bookkeeping Basics (with our Business Advisor, Zach Graff)
• Speed Networking (with Sarah McGowan from the North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce)
• Marketing, Branding & Merchandising for our upcoming Pop-Up (with our Program Coordinator and Marketing Director Sarah White)
• Open Work Session for in-person support, brainstorming, and business building

This year’s cohort is made up entirely of high school students, so you can expect to see their businesses up and running full-time throughout July and August.

That said, some have gotten up and running early and you can already find them around the area! You can find:
