The goal was to create a room occupancy sensor with an over limit alarm output. With the help of an Arduino Uno, some TOF sensors and a relay, we can bidirectionally count people going in or coming out of a room, and set an alarm straight to Ajax transmitter if the threshold is exceeded. Critical alerts from this sensor can be sent to the Ajax desktop app, mobile app, or simply activate the alarm siren. CMS monitoring is also optional.

A central power supply with battery backup will be installed to keep these babies up and running.

Once all long term testing has been complete, we’ll wrap it up in an aesthetically pleasing housing and put it to work!

Ajax Systems can do much more than just protect your property.

This is a 4mm Ajax 4K turret camera, and the detail it captures is exactly why resolution and lens choice matter. From the approximate 40 foot distance shown here, we’re able to digitally zoom in and clearly read a license plate, even in winter conditions with snow, glare, and low contrast.

Wide enough to cover the entire driveway, yet tight enough to preserve critical details when it matters. This is the difference between “seeing a car” and having usable evidence.
