Orange Sport Supply Inc. is hiring!

Everyone seems to be riding or repairing their bike these days and we are looking to add a person to our team as warehouse personnel. Orange Sport Supply is a bicycle parts distributor located in North Vancouver.

The successful candidate will work in our warehouse and report to our warehouse supervisor. Duties include shipping and receiving throughout the day in a fast paced environment. Inventory counts and organization will also be part of the day to day requirements. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 4:00PM.

We are looking for a strong team player that has a very high attention to detail and a great attitude. Bike industry experience is a definite advantage and wage will be commensurate with experience. Only those candidates selected for interviews will be contacted.

Dear customers, cyclists and friends,

Just like all of you, Orange Sport Supply has taken the COVID-19 pandemic very seriously. We have put the safety of our team first and have seen most of you do the same. We have seen the bike industry make enormous adjustments to keeping staff and customers safe. While some shops may be legislated to close and others may do so out of choice, we feel it would be best if bicycle retailers were designated as essential services and allowed to contribute to the health of Canadians. We can do this by offering them healthy alternatives to crowded public transportation and the freedom to participate in one of the few activities that can be done so while keeping socially distant.

Like many of you, we have been lobbying our provincial government with the argument that the bike industry offers an essential service and should be considered as such. We know we can add to the health of citizens while being overly responsible for keeping everyone healthy.

We now know that Ontario has deemed bike retailers an essential service, while other provinces and territories remained undecided. We are pleased to say that, today, we have received an email showing confirmation that BC bicycle retail shops are considered an essential service.

For those of you in territories that have not deemed bicycle retailers an essential service, we urge you to reach out to your MLA and apply pressure, should you feel comfortable doing so.

Dear customers & friends,

With COVID-19 on everyone’s mind, we wanted to reach out directly to say that Orange Sport Supply Inc. is monitoring the situation very closely, just as all of you are. Our goal, like yours, is to flatten the curve and to minimize the spread of this fast acting virus.

Our North Vancouver warehouse is currently open and shipping orders; our current hours are Mon-Fri 8am-4pm. Please bear in mind that these hours may change at any moment should our government make any announcements or updates. We will do our best to inform you through email and our social media channels if that happens.

If there is product that you need from us for a repair, for stock, or for a special order, we are here for you. Our B2B shows our current and accurate inventory levels and our sales staff are available by phone and email. Our couriers (Purolator & Canpar) are picking up daily, and we have seen little to no delay in delivery times across Canada.

We have taken measures to ensure that our office is sanitized and any staff that can work from home are doing so. At this time, we request that any pick up orders are given an adequate amount of time to pick, pack and invoice appropriately and safely. If you have any pressing orders, please call us at 1-877-990-5554 to discuss the available options.

We also want to assure you that we've taken numerous precautions to keep our office and warehouse clean so our customers and employees are safe, including deeper cleanings and alcohol-based sanitizers being used. Your well-being and the safety of our staff is our top priority.
