The countdown is officially on! 🎉

Join us for the 5th Annual Reclaiming Our Future Youth Conference & Career Fair, taking place on October 28-29, at Helen Betty Osborne Ininew Education Resource Centre (HBOIERC) in Norway House Cree Nation!

This year marks a special milestone as we celebrate the 5th anniversary of Reclaiming Our Future! For five years, Reclaiming Our Future has brought together Indigenous youth, educators, employers, entrepreneurs, and community partners to inspire the next generation through education, career exploration, entrepreneurship, leadership, and wellness.

We're looking forward to another incredible year of learning, networking, and inspiration, with engaging conference sessions, a dynamic career fair, and evening programming that brings youth and community members together.

We are proud to share the final video from the 4th Annual Reclaiming Our Future Economic Development Youth Conference. This video captured the energy, learning, connections, and powerful moments that happened when our youth came together to explore what economic development meant for our future. The conference created a space where our youth saw themselves as future leaders, business owners, innovators, and changemakers.

This conference was built on the belief that:
✨ Our youth belonged in economic spaces
✨ Our communities deserved sustainable, community centered growth
✨ Our future was strongest when we invested in our young leaders

During our 2025 conference, we were also proud to host the community career fair in partnership with Norway House Cree Nation – Employment & Training Services. Students had the opportunity to meet and connect with nearly 34 organizations, giving them direct exposure to career pathways, training opportunities, and future employment possibilities. The career fair also featured local Norway House Cree Nation speakers who shared their personal education, career, and life journeys to help inspire students as they planned their own future educational and career pathways.

To every youth who attended, every speaker who shared knowledge, every partner who supported, and every staff member who worked behind the scenes, we thank you.

We remained committed to continuing to build pathways for youth entrepreneurship, leadership, and economic empowerment in Norway House Cree Nation.

We were proud to release the Final Report for the 4th Annual Reclaiming Our Future Economic Development Youth Conference.

This report reflected the voices, ideas, and priorities shared by our youth. It documented what we learned, what inspired us, and where we are going next as a community committed to building strong economic futures.

During our 2025 conference, we were also proud to host our first ever community career fair in partnership with Norway House Cree Nation – Employment & Training Services. Students had the opportunity to meet and connect with nearly 34 organizations, giving them direct exposure to career pathways, training opportunities, and future employment possibilities. The career fair also included local Norway House Cree Nation speakers who shared their own journeys to help inspire students as they explored their future educational and career options.
