🎉✨ HCCIC Proudly Sponsors MCBA Chinese New Year Reception 2026 ✨🎉
Hamorn Chung Canadian Immigration Consultancy Inc. (HCCIC) was deeply honoured to serve as one of the official sponsors of the Mississauga Chinese Business Association (MCBA) Chinese / Lunar New Year Reception, held at Mississauga City Hall on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 — the second day of the Lunar New Year.
This year, we welcomed the vibrant and dynamic Year of the Fire Horse, a symbol of strength, energy, leadership, and forward momentum. The afternoon was a remarkable demonstration of unity, resilience, and cultural pride within our diverse Canadian community.
We were privileged to celebrate alongside Mayor Carolyn Parrish, MPs and MPPs, City officials, business leaders, and community partners. The event was exceptionally well attended, reflecting the strong collaboration between civic leadership and multicultural organizations in Mississauga.
Guests enjoyed captivating cultural performances and a festive atmosphere filled with joy and optimism for the year ahead. The afternoon was further elevated by the delicious cuisine generously sponsored by Nations Fresh Foods, adding warmth and flavour to an already memorable celebration.
Our Director, Hamorn Chung (RCIC-IRB, Commissioner of Oaths), had the distinct honour of leading the singing of Canada’s national anthem, O Canada, and serving as Master of Ceremony alongside the highly experienced emcee Jake Dheer. It was a meaningful moment that reflected our deep commitment to both our Canadian identity and our rich cultural heritage. Hamorn Chung
