The Marketing Coordinator will be someone who loves to play in the outdoors, tell a good story, and to give back to the community.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
> Identify, build and maintain media lists
> Write and design media materials
> Research + write story pitches, news releases and blog posts
> Outreach to media
> Manage product samples for use by media or influencers
> Monitor and track media coverage + statistics to measure growth
> Create monthly coverage reports for client
> Active role in event planning and ex*****on
> Manage social initiatives, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn
> Editorial and content creation for social
> Coordinate influencer partnerships, both paid and organic
> Administrative duties in support of all areas of marketing: PR, Social, and Retail
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
> Marketing degree or equivalent
> 1 to 2 years in a brand marketing role
> Experience in pitching successfully to media and bloggers
> Positive track record on social media platforms and proficient with management software
> Excellent written and oral communication skills in ENGLISH
> Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
> Proficient in MS Office + Adobe Creative Suites
> Ability to multi-task, and work on multiple clients simultaneously
> Photography skills would be amazing!
> Bilingual(French/English) is an asset
The position is full-time with flex hours in and out of our Oakville office. Open to remote work if candidate is the right fit and lives within Canada.
