FULL-TIME, WITH BENEFITS

Position Summary:
Our client is Coca-Cola. Your role is two-fold. Firstly, to travel between the Walmart locations in your territory and ensure that Coca-Cola products are on the shelf and looking great. Secondly, to support your team of about 20+ night merchandisers across Ontario. Your core in-field hours are from Thursday to Sunday, from 10:00 PM until approximately 2:00 AM, ensuring that you and your team drive sales by stocking the sales floor with Coke products! To do this, you will be bringing out product from the designated Coke section from Walmart’s backroom, pulling pallets onto the main floor and filling the shelves with all Coca-Cola brands across multiple areas of the store.

When you are not working in your own stores, you will oversee a team of 20+ night merchandisers located across Ontario. You will be their primary point of contact, training new employees and offering support to your team where needed. Your travel, which is paid, will be fairly extensive (Kingston to London) and will include some overnight travel (Thunder Bay) on a monthly basis.

What You Will Be Doing Every Day:

Merchandising

- Replenishing and merchandising Coca-Cola products throughout Ontario Walmart locations during targeted days and hours
- Transporting products between the backroom/storage room to front-of-store with manual or powered equipment (pallet jack, hand truck)
- Traveling to 2 or 3 Walmart stores per shift across Ontario
- Completing some online administration related to the work you completed, including submitting photographs

Leading The Team

- Providing onboarding training for new hires and continuous training on best practices and safety
- Coaching your team by offering encouragement and feedback on strength and opportunity areas
- Being available for and responding promptly to questions from your team (cell)
- Ongoing in-field coaching where needed
- Covering absences as needed
- Provide feedback and insights on field coverage on a regular basis
- Working collaboratively and maintain ongoing communication with the Sales - - Operations Coordinator, program lead, store managers and other Coca Cola stakeholders

A few other things we’ll expect from you:

- Merchandising experience in Walmart or Grocery preferred
- Proven success in leading/supervising a team
- A track record of making sound decisions and taking action on them independently
- Must be available to work from Thursday to Sunday, at times overnight
- Must be able to repetitively lift, carry and position product (weighing up to 50 lbs or 22 kg) above shoulder height without assistance
- Full access to a reliable vehicle and comfort with frequent travel which may involve long distances
- Must be able to push and pull manual and powered equipment (i.e. pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance (Training and an allowance for safety shoes is provided)
- Must be able to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Have a cellular phone (allowance provided) with a working camera for reporting purposes
