Information is valuable. But what happens when we never act on what we’ve learned?

I’ve been reflecting on Peter’s experience in Matthew 14:28–29.

He heard Jesus say, “Come.”

But something remarkable happened when he responded by stepping out of the boat.

It reminds me of something I’ve learned while building my digital business.

We can attend training, gather information, ask questions and make plans.

All of these are important.

But knowledge alone doesn’t build a business. We have to apply what we’ve learned, remain consistent and be willing to grow through the process.

And no, taking action doesn’t guarantee that everything will go exactly as planned.

But without action, even the best information remains just information.

Sometimes, the difference between what we know and what we experience is what we choose to do with that knowledge.

Sometimes the issue isn't that we have no time, but that we haven't yet seen enough value to make something a priority.

Gathering information is not the same as making a commitment.

You can look into something, ask questions, and understand how it works without deciding to move forward.

I explored different options over the years before settling on my digital business. Some made sense for where I wanted to go - others didn’t.

But I could only make those decisions because I first gave myself permission to understand them.

Learn. Ask questions. Then make the decision that’s right for you. 🌱

But what if it doesn’t work for me?

Well, I believe that’s a fair question.

Especially if you’ve tried something before that didn’t turn out the way you expected.

But I’ve learned there’s another side to that question:

What information would I need before I could make a better-informed decision? I guess that may be the line of thought.

You don’t have to say yes to everything that comes your way.

But you also don’t have to let uncertainty make the decision before you’ve even understood what’s involved.

Sometimes, understanding first is enough for today. 🌱

Sometimes, we underestimate how much we already know. 😊

We use technology every day without giving it much thought.

But have you ever considered that some of those everyday digital skills could become the starting point for learning something new?

You don’t necessarily need to be a tech expert. Sometimes, all you need is an open mind and a willingness to learn.

What Really Fits Into A Life That’s Already This Busy?

Have you ever thought about building something alongside your career… then immediately wondered:

“Where would I even find the time for this?”

This is a question on the minds of many!

Because if your schedule is already full, adding something that requires you to be somewhere else for several more hours may not solve the problem.

Maybe the better question to ask is:

“What could I build that actually fits around the busy life I already have?”

Sometimes, changing the question changes what we start looking for.

Some milestones deserve more than congratulations, they deserve a moment of reflection. ❤️

Today, I’m celebrating Dr. Chioma Osemwegie on reaching her 4th business milestone! 🎉🔥

What makes this particularly beautiful is the journey behind it.

Chioma came into the digital business space already accomplished in her profession as a physician, but willing to learn again in an entirely different space.

She has shared openly that she started with no digital business experience, plenty of questions, skepticism and even fear. Yet, instead of allowing what she didn’t know to stop her, she gave herself permission to learn.

And she kept going.

I have watched her learn, grow, serve, stretch herself and remain committed through the uncertainties, challenges and different seasons of this journey.

Today, that willingness to start before having everything figured out has brought her to her 4th business milestone - something she once thought might take another year or two. 🙌🏾

That is worth celebrating. 🥂

But beyond the milestone itself, I celebrate the growth of the person behind it.

Her story is another reminder that being successful in one area of life does not mean we have reached the limit of what we can learn or become. Sometimes, there is another side of us waiting to be developed, we simply have to give ourselves permission to explore it.

I celebrate your courage, consistency, growth and faith. And like you said in your own reflection, look at what God is doing. ❤️🙏🏾

May this 4th milestone be another chapter in an even greater story.
