Founded in the early 1980's with the original name ‘Stoney Slopes’, to this day award winning wines carry its name. Former Vancouver (Southlands),resident, Stephen P. Carter, purchased the vineyard in 2012. Discovering a
nesting family of hawks, they became the vineyard’s namesake. Overlooking Vaseaux Lake, HAWK'S VINEYARD borders Nature’s Trust and can be found next-door to the award winning Noble Ridge Vineyard. Home to some of the OLDEST vinifiera in the Okanagan, the vineyard was root planted in the early 80’s. Originally known as Stoney Slopes, to this day award winning wines carry this name. In 2011, it was sold to proprietor Stephen P. Carter and revitalized. The vineyard is home to the BC Wine Studio and The Hollow Event Centre and Amphitheater. GRAPES OF THE VINEYARD
