Cellar Dweller has 17 filtration systems, including Crossflow, High Solids Crossflow, STARs, RVDF, Reverse Osmosis, and amaea. Cellar Dweller Filter Services is a mobile crossflow filter company based in Okanagan Falls, BC. The key technology that we offer our customers is a Pall OenoflowTM wine filtration system. We rent this system to local wineries on either a time or by the litre basis. This

system saves money for our customers both by reducing the amount of wine loss that occurs during filtration, and reducing the amount of time it takes to filter.

My son Eric just got accepted to UBC for law. He's planning to defer a year, in order to travel. My question is how does one go about getting jobs at wineries in different countries. On his bucket list are New Zealand, France and Germany, but open to others. He has minimal cellar experience, but does have a season working in a tasting room. He has immersion French above par English skills, is personable with a good work ethic. Any leads, references etc are really appreciated.

Cellar Dweller currently has two positions available. We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic, full time, with welding and fabrication skills, mechanical and electrical skills. This is a 4 x 10 work week. $25 hr during the probation period, $30 hr post probation, health and dental plan included. and for a Filtration Technician, part time or full time. This challenging position is ideal for a candidate who likes constant change. Some winery experience, good mechanical and electrical trouble shooting skills, experience driving heavy duty pickup/ cargo trailer combinations are all desirable skills. Expect ample overtime, and some overnight travel. $25 hr during probation / $30 hr post probation. Health and dental benefits.

It's harvest time again, and Cellar Dweller Wine Filtration is once again, purchasing juice lees. This is an excellent way to divert high solids from your waste water system, and produce some revenue as well. We make it easy by providing the totes for decanting the lees, providing the trucking to pick up full totes, and doing most of the paper work. This is a permanent part time position, with the bulk of the hours in the busy Jan - June period, ideal for someone looking for work during the winter months. You will be responsible for operating our Crossflow and Reverse Osmosis units in the West Kelowna to Lake Country area. Cellar Dweller is looking for a permanent part time Maintenance Mechanic. This is a two days per week (Friday and Saturday) position at our Oliver facility. You will be responsible for assisting our Filtration Operators ready equipment for the next job, performing any equipment repairs needed, and picking up and delivering equipment. The successful candidate will have good general mechanical and electrical skills, and experience operating truck/trailer's. Class 1 or 3 is an asset, but not a necessity. Operate Crossflow filtration, Reverse Osmosis systems, and Rotary Vacuum Drum Filtration Systems at wineries and cideries within British Columbia. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical, electrical, and control systems aptitude, is comfortable with daily interaction with winery personnel, has a clean drivers license and is comfortable hauling trailers. A food service or winery background is an asset. Training is provided. Cellar Dweller offers a dental and health plan.
