A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at Wild Goose Winery and supported our fundraising efforts for those impacted by the Bald Range Fire in Summerland.

Through the combined fundraising efforts of Wild Goose Winery and Burrowing Owl Estate Winery, we raised $3,500 for the Community Foundation of the South Okanagan Similkameen’s Evacuee Relief Fund.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who stopped by, contributed and helped us support our neighbours during a difficult time.

Thank you for showing up for our community. Every contribution played a part, and we’re so grateful for your generosity.

Looking ahead to Friday, we want to invite you to join us at Wild Goose Winery for our recurring Thank Goose! It’s Friday live music happy hour.

From 3:00 to 5:00 PM, Steve Jones will be joining us for live music, with wine and charcuterie specials available throughout the afternoon.

With the wildfire and smoke continuing to affect our surrounding communities, we’ll be keeping a close eye on conditions. If conditions are suitable for being outdoors, we’ll gather on the patio as usual. If conditions are better suited to being indoors, we’ll bring TGIF inside.

Wherever we gather, we hope Wild Goose can be a welcoming place to spend some time together, enjoy a glass of wine and a little live music.

Our thoughts remain with everyone affected by the fires and those working hard to keep our communities safe.

This weekend, your tasting fee will make a difference.

From August 14–16, all tasting fee donations will support the Summerland Relief Fund.

Minimum donation: $5 per tasting.
Please consider giving more if you can.

Wild Goose Winery will match guest donations up to $2,500.

Together, our goal is to raise $5,000.

Our hearts are with our neighbours in Summerland and Peachland, and everyone impacted by the devastating wildfires. We’re thinking of the families who have been displaced, those facing uncertainty, and the firefighters and emergency crews working tirelessly to protect our communities.

With the current situation, we’ve decided to move this Saturday’s Shuck Yeah! event indoors and relocate it from Wild Goose Winery to the Sonora Room Restaurant at Burrowing Owl Estate Winery.

For those who are able to join us, we hope the winery can offer a safe and welcoming space to get out of the smoke and spend some time together.

Shuck Yeah! will continue indoors with live music by Lewis Cardinal from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Oysters are available while supplies last.

In support of our local farming community, 25% of the proceeds from food sales at this event will be donated to WTFungus and LocalMotive Okanagan, two Summerland farms we proudly partner with and are honoured to call part of the Sonora Room family.

Shuck Yeah! Oysters are back at Wild Goose Winery for another afternoon of fresh oysters, great wine, and live music.

Join us on Saturday, August 15, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, for fresh oysters, charcuterie, and perfectly paired Wild Goose wines.

Lewis Cardinal will be performing live from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, creating the perfect atmosphere for an afternoon on the patio.
