It may be nearing the end of summer, but it also means the start of bottle drive season. The Olds Bottle Depot supports these fundraising initiatives, not only in processing the collected items, but often in providing a drop-off bin for depot customers to donate their returnable containers!

If you're not able to donate to a bottle drive when they came by your house, check with us to see if they have a donation bin at the depot for you to contribute to any number of community causes.

Every dollar counts for these great community organizations to provide the events, opportunities and services that make a difference for all our residents.

The Olds Bottle Depot is open Monday to Saturday (10am - 6pm). Drop off is also available during the listed times.

Great program from great agencies including Accredited Supports to the Community!

🎒 CRAM THE CRUISER – BACK TO SCHOOL! 🚓✏️
Olds RCMP is proud to once again support Cram the Cruiser, helping local students and families get ready for the new school year.

📅 Saturday, August 22
⏰ 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
📍 Walmart – Town of Olds

We’re asking our community to help us fill the cruiser with much-needed school supplies. Every binder, calculator, notebook, marker and backpack donated helps make sure a local student can start the school year with the supplies they need.

High-need items include binders, calculators, rulers, notebooks, dry erase markers, duotangs, erasers, geometry sets, pencil crayons, scissors, markers, crayons and water bottles.

This is one of those events that shows what makes our community special. A small donation can make a big difference for a student and their family.

Come by, say hello to our members, and help us Cram the Cruiser! 🚓🎒

Did you know the Olds Bottle Depot is more than just refundable beverage containers? We are a designated drop-off site for Electronics Recycling - part of the eCycle program in Alberta.
The depot accepts a variety of electronic items for recycling.

Stopping in to say thank you to all our customers and supporters. It's been a great year since we joined this social media world.

We also wanted to remind everyone that we will be closed on Monday, August 3rd for the Heritage Day Holiday. The Depot will re-open on Tuesday at 10AM!
