Some visits you just know are going to be good ones. 🍷

We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Chef Vikram Vij to Nostalgia W**es on the Black Sage Bench yesterday for a vineyard tour, a tasting and a trip into the cellar for some barrel samples. Vikram has spent decades showing Canada and the world how food can carry family, memory and a whole lot of heart, so sharing our w**es with him felt like catching up with an old friend over a great bottle.

There was laughter, there were big conversations about flavour, and there may have been a few “okay, just one more pour” moments. The star of the day? Our Kerner. Vikram fell for it right away, and honestly, we’re not surprised: that bright, aromatic lift was made for a table full of bold spice.

Thank you, Vikram, for your curiosity, your warmth and your contagious energy. You’re welcome back on the Bench any time.

Come Over October is back! Come Over October is a national campaign encouraging w**e lovers to invite friends, colleagues and family to "come over" during the month of October to share some w**e at home, in a restaurant, at an outdoor event, or wherever you gather.

So Nostalgia W**es is inviting 5 amazing Chefs, and YOU to gather together for some amazing chilis and great w**es! Of course, the afternoon wouldn't be complete without live music from Twin Waters

Pots will bubble, spices will fly and taste buds will be tested. Bring your appetite and your game face: bragging rights are on the line.

Here's what's cooking:
🌶️ Sample 5 delicious chilis crafted by local chefs
🍷 Each chili will be paired with Nostalgia W**es
🎶 Enjoy live music by Twin Waters while you sip and savour

Wanted: chili judges. No experience necessary. 🌶️

We need a panel of serious tasters this Saturday, and we think you're qualified. Your duties: wander the property, taste the chilis, sip the Nostalgia w**es, then cast the vote that crowns the Best Chili in the South Okanagan.

Twin Waters will be playing the whole time, because judging is hard work.

Compensation: chili, w**e, music and fun.
Cost of the job: $25.
