🎬 Movie Night at the Estate is back!

Join us Saturday, September 26, as we close out summer with a family-friendly screening of Zootopia 2 on the big screen in our outdoor courtyard.

Doors open at 6:00pm - movie begins at 6:30pm. No tickets or pre-booking required—just bring the family and enjoy an evening at the Estate.

Limited seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage you to bring a blanket, lawn chair or your favourite comfy seating.

A variety of food and beverages will be available for purchase including popcorn, charcuterie cups, candy cups and wine by the glass or bottle (no outside food or drink permitted).

Weather permitting, we’ll be outdoors. Please bring a mask if you are affected by diminished air quality. In the event of adverse weather, the movie will move indoors.

A message to our Okanagan community.

As wildfires continue to affect communities across the region, the safety of our guests and staff remains our highest priority. Seated tastings might occur inside the tasting room only during days with poor air quality.

This is a challenging time for many across the Okanagan. Road closures and changing conditions are affecting local businesses and the communities they serve.

We encourage those who are able to support local businesses. Several organizations in the Okanagan are collecting supplies for wildfire evacuees. Every contribution helps.

Before 1977, some still believed high-quality European grapes would struggle in South Okanagan.

That changed when German viticulturist Dr. Helmut Becker started the "Becker Project," demonstrating that Vitis vinifera could thrive in BC and led the local wine industry toward a transition to this higher quality variety. In 1993, Harry McWaters recognized the potential of Becker Vineyard for planting late ripening Bordeaux grape varieties.

Tucked against the Okanagan Highland mountains on the upper terraces of the Black Sage Bench, this 50-acre vineyard sits on steep, sandy loam slopes reaching up to 380 meters high. High altitude gives the vines intense daily sun, while cool northern breezes sweep down the valley at night. That drastic temperature swing slows down ripening, giving the grapes the extra weeks they desperately need to develop deep, concentrated flavors without losing their fresh acidity.

The 2022 Becker Carménère captures that exact mountain microclimate. It’s a 100% single-varietal expression packed with dark cherry, subtle spice, and a bright, vibrant finish. A bottle rated 94 points by James Suckling and won Gold Medal at both the 2026 IWSC and 2026 NWAC.
