After cold events in 2023 and 2024 took our Merlot vineyards on the Black Sage Bench, we turned to what a decade of study had already revealed. Cabernet Franc, suited to this valley's long days and short season, capable of density without losing freshness. Black Rook continues, unchanged in origin, refined in character.

The 2023 Black Rook Cabernet Franc marks our first new red varietal, and the inaugural vintage of this transition.

From eight rows within our warmest vineyard, Border Vista, our 2022 Capture Chardonnay reflects the natural concentration of this southern Okanagan site. Wild fermentation and fourteen months in French oak shape a w**e of depth and refinement. Awarded 97 points by John Schreiner for its intense orange‑peel aromatics, stone fruit, and long, mineral‑lined finish, marking the finest vintage of Capture Chardonnay to date.
