So here’s the thing…every year, opening day is one of our favourite days. We throw off our winter cobwebs and welcome spring which brings bud break in the vineyard and guests to our sweet little yellow buildings. Open Thursday to Sunday 11 am til 5 pm. We’ll see you soon!

Hi everybody! It’s that time of year again for my opening soon social media post. I’m always excited when spring arrives, as it means I’m getting the tasting room ready for staff training.

So, here’s the thing: when the cat is away, the mice will, indeed, play. While the owners of Here’s the Thing Vineyards take a well-deserved vacation, the team is excited to announce a special sale.

So here’s the thing…our 2025 season is ending today. It has been a fantastic 8th season for us in the tasting room; meeting great people, selling wine and laughing…lots of laughing! If you are in the south Okanagan on this spectacular Thanksgiving weekend, swing by and say hi to Cindy and I - we are open til 5 pm. On this National Celiac Awareness Day, I offer a shout out to who always takes care of me, as a person with celiac disease, like family. Celiacs are not always safe in restaurants but and his exceptional team know exactly what to do. Since being diagnosed in 2018, we have eaten many times and I have never had any difficulties. So, thank you for giving us a lovely place to eat, great service and the most spectacular views in the valley. And to my fellow celiacs - Cheers! 🥂

So, here’s the thing…when Jamie and I aren’t growing grapes or selling wine, we do crafts. Just kidding, that never happens. A friend suggested making umbrella stands out of wine barrels (thank you Cindy) so Jamie expertly drilled a few holes and I un-expertly painted some stripes. But I love how they look and how they offer some shade on our back patio. We have lots of barrels for sale so you could do this for your patio as well! Now, I must run and pour a glass to enjoy after my day of crafting…😎

So here’s the thing folks…we are coming up on the first long weekend of the summer so we decided to have some fun! Join us Saturday for some tasty hot dogs with and we have just the wine to go with whatever delicious concoction you choose from Campbell. On Sunday, for the first time ever, we will be joined by for an afternoon of great music and maybe some dancing 💃🏻 🕺🏼 Feel free to bring a chair and a picnic or choose some charcuterie items from our self serve fridge. We will have the wine a-chillin’ Can’t wait to see you all 😎
