After almost a year hiatus we are back and active! After the Full Moon last night in Pisces I felt the urge to draw a rune, so here we are.

Wunjo: Joy, Harmony, Pleasure
Pisces: Imagination, Change, Intuition

This full moon is a time to let go as we transition into the dormant seasons. It is a time of transformation as we prepare for fall. With the harvest comes abundance, and we should take the time to enjoy the fruits of our labours - for me in particular, that means really naking the most of what is left of our garden 🌱

Find some simple pleasures this week, and really savour them!

I would like to start doing a weekly rune and oracle card draw to share how I use my Rune Casting set!
This week's rune is Mannaz. This rune symbolizes the Self, so this week I propose you consider your humanity.
What makes you tick?
How can you embrace your strengths and weaknesses?
Take some time to balance your emotional, spiritual, physical and intellectual self.
Mannaz is complemented by the Bear, who is waking from a long slumber. The Bear represents an awakening and transformation. It reinforces the message of Mannaz, by encouraging personal growth. This is a great week to get that body moving in the great outdoors!
I will be reinvigorating my body, mind and spirit this week by recommitting to my yoga practice. 🧘🏼‍♀️

Need a little guidance? Check out Yew & Hazel's talismans made of avocado pits! These are such a unique creation! Avocado pits are carefully sliced and then a Rune or Alchemy symbol is delicately carved into it and left to cure. The slices are regularly cared for by massaging a little mineral oil on them so that they don't dry out before they find their forever homes! If you use it as a worry stone or keep it in your pocket daily the oil from your fingers will keep it healthy or you can diffuse essential oils with them and that will also do the trick! "Christmas is 4 weeks away! Here are Harold + Ferne's extended holiday hours for the season...

A heads up that the shop will be closed after Christmas for the month of January for a much needed break 💗 As most of you are aware, this is a one woman operation so to maintain a healthy balance I need to maintain a healthy schedule (as well as take some time to celebrate exciting life events 👰 😉). I am incredibly excited to come back to Harold + Ferne in 2018 with fresh ideas + a fresh perspective.
