Optimal Angles are the most important part of your piercing!

As piercers, we try to go perpendicular to your specific tissue alignments to create the most comfort for the new foreign object that rests in its place.

Not all piercings can be achieved in that fashion, based on its location and type, however, moments like this is just *chefs kiss*

Let’s get more Tongue action pleeeeease! 👅😝

I absolutely love this clients choice of placement preference. Did you know you can position a Tongue piercing virtually in any location on your Tongue (pending anatomy and artery position).

Even if you were interested in a ‘Frog Eye’ piercing! Two vertically positioned piercings can achieve that look without the dangers a traditional Frog Eye poses. (Something to consider 😉)

Here is a sneak peek at a beautifully healed helix and conch that was performed by me approximately 10 months ago! 😍

This client has taken all the right steps of aftercare and also self-care to achieve this flawless outcome! I am at awe and would love to share this with all whom are interested in what Bougie’s ‘healed’ piercings can look like!

A Tragus night ‘twas had and two great outcomes came out on top with a lot of laughs, bonding, and trust. 💕

A Tragus piercing is a perfectly daring, yet dainty complementary piercing that is subtle and unique from your typical ear piercing.

A Tragus piercing typically takes about 4-6 months to heal, but depending on your body’s ability to heal and your aftercare routine, you can be looking at 6-9 months for a full healing period.

A lot of people are always concerned and curious about being able to wear ear buds with a tragus piercing. You are quite capable of wearing your favourite ear buds for you listening enjoyment. It may not be entirely comfortable or recommended for the first 3 weeks of healing, but with some mindfulness and an upkeep with your aftercare, you can multitask this piercing like a pro!

I can personally show you how to manage through during your piercing appointment and I can answer any questions you may have. 💜

Flat Piercings are super fun with placement varieties! Having such a space to play with, you can never go wrong with an inspirational design for a singular or even multiple piercings.

Flats are part of the Cartilage family, which means the pain ratio can be about 5/10 (maybe a 6/10, depending your pain tolerance) and on average, you would be looking at 6-9 months for a healing duration.

Through that time, you will experience ups and downs of your piercing being happy and angry. All cartilage piercings take time and patience to veteran through.

After the first 3 weeks of your initial piercing, you will require a downsize so you can avoid irritation bumps and migrations. Bougie does offer downsizing services for optimal healing outcomes.

You can book your down size appointment via the website at ✨www.bougieboopiercings.ca✨You can also check out the website for all other services and prices!

✨Downsizing✨is actually part the process of a successfully healed piercing! Generally Downsizing is recommended 3-weeks after you get your piercing done.

3 weeks is the minimum time when the swelling reduces (depending on the type of piercing). In order to avoid painful irritation bumps, discomfort, or migration of the angle, a downsize is recommended.

Most people are unaware of this process and may experience those outcomes, followed with confusion to why it has happened.

If you require any downsizing services, you can book your personal appointment at www.bougieboopiercings.ca.

Downsize services are $20.00 *Not* including the Jewelry. Jewelry selections start at $40.

Message me via DM’s or through ‘contact’ on Bougie’s website if you have any questions or curitosities! 🫶🏼
