💡 7 TIPS TO REGAINING CONTROL during your fourth trimester
Sometimes it feels like the days are super long , and everyday after that is a reoccurring cycle
You sometimes feel like you’re taking care of a new born but also completely losing yourself at the same time
Even though these feelings are completely normal behaviours during your early fourth trimester, it doesn’t mean you should have to fight through the sadness, anxiety , and stress
Anytime you question your emotions is a time that you can reach out to a friend , or family member. Most importantly it is a time you can reach out to a therapist, they are sometimes the best people to talk to because the conversation is completely opened, unbiased and provide a listening ear who validates your feelings
For your time at home , Here are 7 Tips to help you regain some control on your own 👇
1️⃣Hygiene- brush your teeth 🪥, brush your hair, take a shower 🚿
2️⃣Make a list ✍🏼- set very small goals for the day
3️⃣Drink more water 💧- get a big stainless steel water bottle, and stay hydrated
4️⃣ Eat food 🥘- nourishing food is great for your mind and body, however get delivery or take out
5️⃣Sunlight ☀️ and fresh air- Open your blinds, or sit on your porch to get some vitamin D
6️⃣ sleep😴 - getting better sleep will help your overall mindset and health. Sleep when you can
7️⃣ All yourself to cry 😢- it is okay to express yourself your emotions. Have a cry , take a few deep breaths , then get up and move around
