Why use an Oxidizer (Shock)?
🔵Burn off contaminants: It helps clear out what your chlorine has already killed.
🔵No long wait times: Unlike some treatments, you can hop back in just 15 minutes after adding it!

How to apply:
🔵Check your dosage: Match the bag size to your pool’s liters. For example, one bag of Pool Protect can treat up to 90,000L
🔵Sprinkle it in: Walk around the edge and sprinkle it directly onto the water’s surface.
🔵Brush it off: If any shock settles on the floor, grab your pool brush and sweep it off immediately—don’t let it sit on the bottom!

Knowing how to backwash your sand filter is one of the simplest ways to keep your water clear all season long, and our team put together a quick walkthrough to show you exactly how it is done. Save this one for the next time your filter needs a refresh. 💦

🔵 Always turn the pump off before changing any valve setting, and try to rotate the valve head in the same direction every time, whether that is clockwise or counterclockwise.
🔵 Switch the valve to the backwash setting and turn the pump back on. This pushes the debris trapped in your sand up through the valve head and out the waste line.
🔵 Watch the sight glass to know when to stop. The water will look cloudy at first, so keep backwashing for at least three minutes, or until the water runs clear enough that you can see your hand through it.
🔵 Turn the pump off and switch to the rinse setting for 10 to 20 seconds. This clears any leftover debris from the valve head so it does not settle back into your filter bed.
🔵 Turn the pump off one last time, return the valve to the filter setting, and restart the pump to finish up.

A solar blanket keeps your water warmer and your heating costs lower, but the bulky roller it usually comes with can crowd a smaller yard.

Heat pumps work differently than traditional gas fire heaters, and one of the biggest differences is condensation. 💧

As your heat pump transfers warmth into your pool water, condensation naturally forms inside the heat exchanger and collects on the pad below. It’s the same principle as the water that drips from your AC on a hot day.

What to expect:
✅ Water on the pad is a normal byproduct of heat transfer
✅ It’s a sign your heat pump is doing its job
✅ No maintenance or repair needed

So if you spot a puddle under your unit, don’t worry. That’s exactly what it should be doing.
