What would you do if you are down $17,000 on the day?.. Would you still hold it or sell them? Here is what I am doing..

Your true character as a trader is defined by what you do when you are red across the board.

I am going to hold all of my positions as they are all calculated risks I have taken based on my Technical and Fundamental analysis. Of course, you can't blindly hold your positions without knowing your risks, but if you truly believe in your Research and Game Plan, you should not let the short term market momentum affect your trading.

Being Emotionally Intelligent is just one piece of the puzzle every trader have to solve in their trading journey. I will update you guys on these positions later when I decide to close them.

Update on my positions for the week (ending on 4th July) :

Was up about $4,500 on the week. Sold all of my positions that I took in the begging it the week and added some new positions on Friday. Still holding the positions I added on Friday..

Apple and Amazon are set to report earnings today after market close. What do you guys think, how the stocks will react after earnings today?

Historically, most of the time Apple went up after they report earnings because of their growth story. This time, market will focus on Apple's growth in India market and upcoming new products such as Apple Vision pro. I wouldn't be surprised if we see $200+ handle on Apple stock after they report earnings today.

On the other side, Amazon revenues are coming solid but it has underperformed so far because market wants to see if they can deliver more profitability. If so, It wouldn't take much for Amazon to hit all time highs.

Fitch Downgraded US Credit Ratings from AAA to AA+.

Last time in 2011 when US was downgraded, RUSSELL 2000 was down 24% & S&P was down 17% in a week.

I believe Google is the only mega cap company that haven't got the AI love from investors. Market is really under appreciating their power in AI.
