People who buy a house don't have an extra bag of money to spend on another tax.

This will only prevent people from being able to afford a house.

Tell the Ontario Liberals that they must rethink their plan to double the land transfer tax burden on ALL Ontario home buyers.

We have noticed that many banks are offering clients something called a "Collateral Mortgage". TD Bank is only offering these types of mortgages.

It is hard for us to recommend that our clients get these mortgages as they are vastly better for the bank than they are for the client.

From experience we can tell you that these types of mortgages can tie up your equity in your house and they make it next to impossible to arrange for secondary lending elsewhere.
