Today is September 30th, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and one of many days that we talk about how . Friends, The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (AKA, Orange Shirt Day) is not about getting an Elder into your class to discuss Residential Schools. Nor is it about getting an Indigenous Person into your class to talk about Orange Shirts and Reconciliation. This is your time to discuss what you are going to do to right the wrongs of the past (and present) that will help give you a better understanding of what it is going to take to attain Reconciliation. Many Indigenous People will be dealing with their, their families and their people's experiences. It's a time for you to do the work and for Indigenous People to remember and move towards Intergenerational healing. Finally, don't limit your advocacy to one day...Every Child Matters for 365 days.

Climate change—the greatest challenge of our time—begins and ends with healthy forests.

By capturing carbon, our forests and the sustainably sourced wood products they provide play an essential mitigating role in our response.

Happy , Canada!
