Introducing Gentle Guardians: Chapter 1 of my Feminine Storybook Series in Soft Pastels 🦢

I share the final transformation of my son’s reading corner into a storybook haven, explaining the five-day process, the need for multiple paint layers, and my approach as an arts therapy practitioner. I discuss how thoughtfully designed spaces support emotional well-being and invite viewers to share their thoughts. 🐻📚✨🌳

Part 1: Transforming My Son’s Reading Corner into a Storybook Haven🐻✨📚

I share the first part of transforming my son’s reading corner into a peaceful storybook-inspired haven, starting with prep work like sanding semi-gloss paint and using damp towels to trap dust. I chose a palette of grounding blues, soft greens, and warm yellows for a cozy feel. I reflect on how this project is a deeply somatic practice, grounding my mind and body through slowing down and letting my hands take over, even through messy stages and plan changes.
