A client brought in this hot water pressure washer, saying they had some pressure issues, even after they had the pump replaced by someone recently. They were then told it was unrepairable.
A few issues stood out right away.
The new pump did not properly fit the machine.
There was significant amp draw.
There was a wire that appeared to go to nothing and one burnt off.
After a few hours of diagnostic, and replacing the contactor that was fried, it would only run by manually pushing the contactor.
We found a wiring diagram and there was an extra part on the contactor. After wiring accordingly, the machine ran fine. Burner kicked in no issues, solid pressure, running smooth.
