There are significant advantages and some disadvantages of working from home as one can imagine. But it can sometimes be difficult to ignore the naysayers and the “it would be nicers”.

Comments such as “It must be nice to cook dinner and get paid,” "You're really lucky that you're not stuck in traffic," I wish I could do what you do," “it must be nice to work in comfy clothes and not have to get all dressed up”…

These comments use to make me very defensive, or excessively explain myself while looking for approval from others. Over time, I realized that the problem wasn't with the "it would be nicers" but with me. I observed that the statements were coming from those that most likely wanted a different situation for themselves., and/or an opportunity to express themselves.

So, reframing my thoughts have taught me to be more empathetic, supportive, and kind as I listened to the thoughts and feelings of others.

It was an amazing Sunday.
Starting off with an early walk,
And witnessing the slow rise of the downtown core.
The open spaces and the imposing architecture amidst the snowy backdrop
Greeted us all gently and lovingly😘

I took this month to seriously practice self-love and learned so much.

I learned that you are more than enough with the essence of your being. We all have passions and talents. This new year has brought me opportunities to remind me how to be playful while living in gratitude, excitement and appreciation. The more I commit to this high vibration energy, the more miracles and blessings unfold.
