Here are 5 steps for starting a call with a prospect.

1. Performing research beforehand so you know the prospect’s situation & what their present needs are.

2. Earning trust through mutual acquaintances or familiar competitors as soon as possible.

3. Keeping the conversation going by encouraging the prospect to reveal more about their situation.

4. Keeping the conversation flowing by focusing on the prospect’s relevant pain points & priorities.
