Special Advance Voting Days from Thursday, October 1 to Sunday, October 4 (Positions available for City of Ottawa staff only)

According to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the 'applicants not working in Canada' stream of the Home Care Worker Immigration Pilot (HCWP) is now closed. When the HCWP was first introduced, it was announced that both the Home Support and Child Care options would feature an intake for applicants not currently in Canada, with more information to follow. However, the stream was listed as 'closed' on the IRCC website on 29 September 2025 without ever opening to applications.
