Hey Storm Family! 👋

Since it's , it’s the perfect time to level up your digital defences! 🛡️

We’ve noticed some sneaky scammers sending fake emails pretending to be Storm. They are using our logos to look official. We’ll be sharing some easy tips to help you spot the fakes, starting today with this one:

Habit #1: Stay Scam Savvy! 🛑
Your best defence is to pause, think twice, and trust your gut. If an email looks unusual or tries to rush you, just don't click. Remember, if you are ever unsure, you don't have to guess.

If this helps, please spread the word, so we can all tackle this together and keep our community safe. 🤝

Huge news for Carleton Place & District Chamber of Commerce!

The Chamber’s Business Awards Gala at Stonefields is officially SOLD OUT! 🎊

We are so honoured to be nominated this year. We love being your local internet crew, and getting to celebrate alongside all the incredible small businesses in our hometown means everything to us. 💛

Congrats to our fellow nominees, and a big shoutout to the Chamber for putting this all together! 👏

We can't wait to see you there on October 15th! ⚡️🥂

We are officially SOLD OUT! 🎉

The 2026 Business Awards of Excellence Gala will welcome 136 guests to Stonefields Estate on October 15 — and we are incredibly grateful for the response from our business community.

An event like this simply doesn’t happen without support.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our 2026 sponsors for helping us celebrate the businesses, organizations, entrepreneurs and people who make our community such a great place to do business.

From our Cocktail Reception, Photo Booth and W**e Sponsors to our Award Sponsors, Event Supporters, Platform Sponsor and our wonderfully creative Table Sponsors — your support helps us make this a special night for everyone in the room.

We do have room for another 3–5 Table Sponsors!

For $125, your business can create a centrepiece that showcases your brand and provide a small takeaway for the 8 guests at your table. We’d love to see every table in the room feature a creative display from one of our local businesses — and it’s a great opportunity to put your business in front of a sold-out crowd of 136 guests.

You do not need to be attending the Gala to sponsor a table.

Interested? Contact [email protected] and we’ll get you set up.

To all of the businesses already supporting this year’s Awards: thank you. We truly couldn’t do it without you.
