Close call last night… temperatures were around the freezing mark for a couple of hours. We lighted up fires at the bottom of the hill to move the air and prevent frost from settling. At this point it looks like there was no damage to the fragile buds…

We were lucky last night. Buds are on the verge of opening and we had temperature near freezing for a couple of hours. Thankfully no damage was done since a wooly protection still covers the delicate buds.
