Salute to Service, presented by Commissionaires Ottawa

On Friday, we honoured Superintendent Wallace Kennedy, who retired in February after more than 34 years of service with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

Since 2018, he has proudly been an Ottawa REDBLACKS season-ticket holder, combining his passion for football with his love of the Ottawa community. A career highlight includes the unique opportunity to work on the field during the 100th Grey Cup.

Wallace, thank you for your continued dedication and service ♥️

“It was important for me to be working in something I believe in.”

For Janice Voth, a career after military service needed to be more than just work.

Since joining Commissionaires 18 years ago, Janice has found just that. Providing Security with Purpose by directly serving her community. 💙

The 2026 Commissionaires Ottawa Open may be behind us, but the partnerships that made it possible are still worth celebrating. ⛳

As part of the PGA TOUR Americas season, the Commissionaires Ottawa Open brought professional golf to our community while creating an opportunity to support Canada’s military and Veteran community.

We recently had the opportunity to reconnect with some of the incredible partners who helped bring this year’s Commissionaires Ottawa Open tournament to life, including The Marshes, Lépine Apartments and Soldier On.

Joining us were ClubEG’s Andy, and Pete, a veteran and former Commissionaire, reminding us of what this tournament is really about: bringing people together, strengthening community connections and supporting Canada’s military and Veteran community.

We’re proud of what we accomplished together and grateful to everyone who played a part in making the 2026 Commissionaires Ottawa Open such a memorable week.

Thank you for being part of it. We’re already looking forward to what comes next.
