Grand Opening — PIRC Executive Briefing Room | Sussex Drive, Ottawa | June 2026
The work that shapes policy does not always happen in boardrooms or on Parliament Hill. Often, it happens in a focused, private room — with the right people, the right context, and no distractions.
This June, Public Interests Research and Communications Inc. opened the PIRC Executive Briefing Room on Sussex Drive in Ottawa’s ByWard Market.
The space is purpose-built for work that demands precision, preparedness, and operational clarity, including:
• executive briefings and operational updates
• hybrid conferencing and international coordination
• Arctic, maritime, satellite, and digital infrastructure strategy
• policy and regulatory working sessions
• media monitoring and rapid-response analysis
• stakeholder engagement and consortium coordination
• multimedia production and strategic communications support
The room is also structured to support select international project and systems-definition work being conducted in Ottawa — including coordination activities involving Arctic communications, maritime safety, satellite systems, and emerging digital infrastructure.
The concept is deliberate: a private, adaptable environment designed for disciplined preparation, direct conversation, and decision-oriented engagement.
As in-person presence reasserts itself across Ottawa’s government, policy, and international affairs communities, there is renewed value in having a dedicated space that is operationally, technically, and strategically ready when the moment requires it.
