On Fathers Day, Fathers are all the heroes in this sordid story

The ongoing horror story of the War on Fathers, Men and the Family which I have personally surveyed now for over 15 years, is difficult to keep on track in terms of distribution, since my advocacy and the associated campaign is huge.
It is without a doubt one of the worst social disasters and legal travesties this country has seen, since the Aboriginal disasters and the foundations of Western justice. The abandonment of justice is an ongoing nightmare and a disgrace, given our rich culture and eventful history. The effects of this disaster, of which the Canadian public is largely ignorant - or apathetic- will be felt for many years to come. I believe the worst is yet to happen..
In time Canadians will recall and recoil and ask themselves "did we really treat our own men and fathers and citizens with such blatant injustice? The answer will shock them to the core.
There will be much soul-searching and hand-wringing. There will be much angst (genuine and otherwise) and the inevitable enquiries in media and The House. There may even be demands for restitution. Or retribution. But it will all be too late for hundreds of thousands of fathers- like me and so many others-and our beloved children.
There is no 'fast rewind' in life-especially in terms of our lives as parents to our children. It will especially be too late for the 3200 plus Canadian men who kill themselves every year because they were deprived of the children they loved.
For myself I can never forgive this country’s liberal judiciary for taking my children, my home, my property (even my heirlooms went to the dump), my health, my career, my status, my dignity and my rights. I am but one of so many.
And like so many like me I can never forget how many people of conscience and influence, stood by and let it all happen. They just didn't want to know. Just like the European experience in 1933-45 people think if they just don't “rock the boat” or look the other way they will be spared. You and I know that injustice, fuelled by a cruel rage, continues to spread.
We are all at risk from our compliant government and entrenched judicial enforcers. They abandon us all as dead-beat dads, to replace care and love with extorted dollars.
Fathers are all the heroes in this sordid story. You have endured so much and for so long. You should all get a medal for your endurance and the courage you have shown in the face of such adversity. Your children at least will be proud of you for fighting for them. So fight on.
