Today, we want to recognize and thank Ian Anderson, founder of Temple Scott Associates.

Ian will remain Chair of the firm while stepping back from day-to-day operations. Over more than three decades, his leadership shaped TSA’s culture, standards, and approach—and influenced generations of professionals across the public affairs community.

Before founding TSA, Ian served at the highest levels of public life, including as Deputy Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister of Canada, Director of Communications in the PMO, and as a journalist with Reuters, Maclean’s, and the Montreal Gazette.

We are deeply grateful for the institution Ian built, the people he mentored, and the values he embedded in this firm. His influence remains part of TSA’s fabric and we will continue to benefit from his advice and guidance.

We’re pleased to share an important update at Temple Scott Associates.

TSA has completed an ownership transition that reflects both our history and our future. Don Moors continues as partner and President, leading the management of the firm. He will be supported by partner Scott Munnoch and Brian Klunder, who has joined the partnership after many years of trusted leadership at TSA. This transition also marks a change for TSA's founder and Chair, Ian Anderson, who will remain Chair of the firm while stepping back from day-to-day operations.

Founded in 1990, TSA was built by Ian on a foundation of trust, ethics, and respect for public service and client outcomes. Ian was joined by his future wife, Jennifer Rideout, and together they developed TSA’s reputation for providing exceptional strategic counsel to companies, governments, and non-profit organizations in Canada and internationally.

For our clients and partners, what matters most remains the same: the same team, shared values, and commitment to thoughtful, principled public affairs advice.
