Crab apple season is HERE! We have been blessed to have many local community members offer out FREE crab apples and allowed to provide them to our pigs. They have gobbled them all up.

This evening, we took a moment as a family to cleanse our new home and bring forth positive thoughts especially for the new school year. While in Calgary, I was apart of a smudging. Our family was kindly shown and shared how we can use sage and shell in our own home at the Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival at Wesley Clover Park. Thank you! Miigwetch

Preparing school snacks on this rainy Sunday morning. Two children are preparing to start school shortly. Can hardly believe it. Summer seems to have gone too fast for us.

What a truly wild adventure we have had since moving. So many curious or creepy crawly creatures have come and said hello 👋 Bonjour 👋

This morning, I was outside by myself, walking around the property to check on things and moved a bin. And this salamander said hey.

Kids were like "what is this?" when I brought it over to show them. Any thoughts on what kind of salamander. Thinking it may be a Jefferson Salamander which is endangered.
