CANUS is proud to supply Med-Eng over the years with visors, plating etc. but never prouder than aiding the current efforts to save lives in the Ukraine. We never forget that our work matters in ways we will never know.

Med-Eng has received this photo of our Bomb Suit visor with the simple message of ‘Thank you for saving lives in Ukraine’. We salute the ongoing efforts of teams clearing Unexploded Ordnance and will continue to support them.

Today, July 21st, is National Indigenous Peoples Day here in Canada. We received our flag just in time too. For June, which is Indigenous History month, we wanted to be able to fly a flag representative of our first nations, of which there are many. We were considering various options when, sadly, the news of the discovery of childrens' graves at residential schools came to the forefront. So then it was obvious. We would fly and will fly this "Every Child Matters" flag every June in remembrance of these children and their families, and in hopes of increasing awareness of this important issue. We hope people understand our flying it at full-mast as part of this recognition while still respecting this past tragedy, daily struggle, and future efforts towards reconciliation. Peace and health to all.

Finally able to fly our flags proudly at CANUS on Fenton Road. For the inaugural day we chose Canada of course, and then Ontario - where most of our employees are from, and our wonderful adopted home province. And finally, Newfoundland and Labrador - the home province of the owners, Mark & Carolyn Perry. Sadly, we are also flying our flags at half-mast in memory of the 215 children recently discovered at a BC residential school. With June being Indigenous History month here in Canada we hope to fly other flags in their honour later, once received. Stay safe everyone.
