Just wrapped up two busy days of free scrap metal pickups!

When I made a post offering free metal pickup services, I wasn't sure what to expect. The response was incredible—my inbox was absolutely flooded.

Over the last two days, I completed pickups at 47 different locations.

I'm still receiving a few messages, but it's time to get back to deliveries and junk removal.

I want to sincerely thank everyone I met along the way. It was a pleasure connecting with so many people in our community and having the opportunity to share what Medium Husky has to offer.

At each stop, I took a few minutes to chat, introduce our services, and hand out some business cards. My hope is that these free pickups help build lasting relationships and earn the trust of future clients.

🚨 FREE SCRAP METAL PICKUPS TODAY – KANATA & STITTSVILLE 🚨

Good morning everyone!

I've set aside today specifically to do free scrap metal pickups throughout Kanata and Stittsville and have room for more stops on my route.

I'm happy to pick up:

✔ Appliances

✔ Water heaters

✔ Lawn equipment

✔ Old car parts

✔ Metal shelving

✔ Exercise equipment

✔ Scrap steel, aluminum, and other metals

Pickup is FREE as long as the items are easily accessible (in the garage, on the driveway, or outside).

Please note: if I need to remove appliances or metal items from a basement, shed, or difficult-to-access area, there will be a removal fee.

If you've been meaning to get rid of some scrap metal, today is the day! Send me a message with a photo and your location, and I'll do my best to fit you into today's route.

FREE SCRAP METAL PICKUPS!!

I'm considering scheduling another day of free scrap metal pickups in the Kanata and Stittsville area and wanted to gauge the level of interest.

To make the trip worthwhile, I would need enough pickups to fill a truck and trailer load.

While these pickup days aren't particularly profitable, they give me the opportunity to meet more people in the community, introduce my business, and make new connections.

Small business shout out time.

I had a job to quote this morning in little Italy. Any time I am in the area I make a point of stopping into Di Rienzo’s grocery and deli. The sandwiches are unreal and the staff are also fantastic.

Story time:

Many years ago, I came to Di Rienzo’s for the first time. After ordering a sandwich I went to the counter to pay. I realized I didn’t have my debit card on me and I didn’t have any cash in my wallet. I started explaining my situation to the owner. I didn’t even finish what I was saying. He just gave me a big smile and said “ enjoy your sandwich, pay me next time “

I will always remember that day and his kindness.

I love sandwiches and I love family run business’s like this.

On days where I have some down time I like to get out in the neighbourhood and hand these out. It’s a great way to shake some hands and meet the neighbours.

With the nice weather finally here, I feel like a lot of people will be cleaning out their garages/ backyards. With the new limits on garbage removal through the city it makes it tricky.
