It can be difficult for families to know where to turn for local services. That is why we started Focus on Seniors Ottawa. Our collective expertise ranges from downsizing, home care, physiotherapy, financial planning, estate planning, home accessibility (barrier-free living) and more. Don’t see a service you need? Reach out to the Maxville Manor if you are in need of a hospital bed.

We’re replacing some of our older hospital beds and are offering the existing ones free of charge to the public, as well as to our residents, staff, and families. Beds are “as is” and must be moved by the person picking them up. A mattress also comes with the frame.
If you’re interested, please call ext. 251, Mon to Fri, to arrange pickup and check in at the main office. Limited quantity, first come, first served!

As part of National Veterans' Week, you're invited on Monday, 10 November 2025 to a special presentation by serving Canadian Forces officer LCol Jonathan Inman, CD.

Touching on Canadian Armed Forces history from World War One to today, it will also feature 'Why I Remember' videos from Chief of the Defence Staff, General Jennie Carignan, and CAF Chief Warrant Officer, Bob McCann.

The presentation is being offered at the following All Seniors Care locations:

11am - Cité Parkway: 380 LeBoutillier Ave, Gloucester

1.30pm - Beacon Heights: 2201 Montreal Road, Gloucester

3.30pm - Chapel Hill: 2205 Pagé Road, Orleans

Living with, or caring for someone living with dementia? This may be just what you need.

We are so excited to be putting on our second dementia learning and conversation series hosted by Abbotsford House, starting Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 4:00 to 5:30 pm. This is an 8-week series that will cover many topics, including: managing changing behaviours, communication techniques, and interactive experiences to help you gain a deeper understanding of living with dementia.

Sharing details of a presentation being offered by Caroline Inman, Director of Residence Relations with All Seniors Care here in Ottawa. All Seniors Care own and operate four licensed retirement residences in the city; The Courtyards in Kanata and Cité Parkway, Beacon Heights and Chapel Hill in the east end.

Caroline is a seniors' housing expert and her presentation is on Planning Ahead - Your Guide to Care Before a Crisis and Options for Aging. She'll cover how to plan for the unexpected; options if you can no longer live at home; services, care, pricing and regulation in retirement homes, as well as the differences between residences and Long Term Care. This is great for anyone with questions on how things work, and anyone interested for themselves of a loved one.

Totally free, with light refreshments and happening at each of ASCs east end homes, 5.30-7pm on;
