This National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day, we pause to remember the children who never came home from residential schools, and to honour Survivors, their families and communities.

This is the fifth year that Calian employees and their family members will volunteer at the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation event on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. We’re grateful to be part of such a meaningful gathering and to continue showing up in support of remembrance and reflection.

Through our Indigenous Employees and Supporters Employee Resource Group and countless other initiatives, Calian employees have opportunities throughout the year to deepen their understanding of Indigenous histories, cultures and lived experiences—and to bring that learning into how we work and engage with our communities.

We acknowledge that there is always more work to do. That’s why today and every day, we remain committed to listening, learning, and taking action in support of reconciliation.

The Golf Tournament held at Rush Creak Golf Club was a tremendous success, achieving record attendance and the highest number of golfers in the event's history. We are grateful to our employees, customers, partners, and sponsors who helped make this year's tournament a memorable day.

Beyond the course, we're proud to continue making a difference in our communities. Through the event, Calian CARES presented a $6,400 donation to New Pathways Family Homeless Shelter to support their ongoing efforts to assist families experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making a lasting impact both on and off the green. Together, we're driving meaningful change.

Investing in the future of nuclear energy means supporting the young leaders who will shape it.

Calian is proud to recognize this year’s recipients of the Calian Award in Nuclear Energy, presented in partnership with USask College of Engineering: River Gendall and Rhett Smith.

We’re especially excited to recognize River as a two-time recipient of this award, an incredible achievement that reflects his continued passion and impact. We’re also excited to welcome him to the Calian team this summer for an internship, where he’ll gain hands-on experience in the field.
