It turns out mosquitoes use carbon dioxide as one of the signals that helps them find people and animals.

One year ago, Rapid CO₂ officially opened its doors.

Got old or expired fire extinguishers sitting around?

ABC and CO₂ extinguishers shouldn’t be thrown in regular garbage because they’re still pressurized and may contain chemical agents.

At Rapid CO₂ in Ottawa, we safely:
• Depressurize extinguishers
• Recycle metal components
• Repurpose certain units for training or parts

Fire extinguisher disposal is available for $8.50 per unit and units can be dropped off directly at our facility.

If you use SodaStream regularly, there’s a much cheaper way to refill your cylinders.

With a 5 lb or 20 lb CO₂ tank and the right adapter, you can refill your own cylinders at home and avoid exchange costs altogether.

You’ll need:
• CO₂ tank (hydro tested every 5 years)
• CGA320 to TR21-4 refill adapter
• Scale for safe filling
