A Historical Adventure at Upper Canada Village

Another wonderful day of adventure — but this time, our journey was different. It was a journey back in time to experience life in historic Canada.

We started getting ready at 10:00 AM yesterday, Saturday, August 22, for our new adventure to Upper Canada Village, where we spent a day filled with history, nature, entertainment, and discovery.

From the moment we entered the village, we began exploring its beautiful historic buildings, streets, and landmarks. We experienced the village in different ways — sometimes aboard a horse-drawn carriage
and at other times enjoying a boat ride on the water, while knowledgeable guides shared fascinating stories about the history of the village and daily life in the past.

We watched demonstrations of how cheese and bread were traditionally made, and learned about many of the trades and professions that were essential to everyday life, including blacksmithing, wood cutting, old-fashioned newspaper printing, and the historic postal system.

One of the most interesting experiences was discovering how *
water power was used to operate machinery and generate energy, showing us how people used natural resources long before modern technology became part of everyday life.

Throughout the village, traditional music, historic costumes, beautiful old buildings, and the surrounding green landscape made us feel as though we had truly travelled back in time.

And the adventure didn’t end inside the village! We also enjoyed a train ride outside Upper Canada Village, taking us through beautiful natural scenery alongside the water.

What made this trip special was that it was more than just a day out. It was an educational, historical, and entertaining experience all in one, enjoyed by both adults and children.

At around 6:30 PM, we concluded our wonderful day after hours filled with exploration, learning, laughter, photos, and unforgettable memories.

Another Wonderful Day of Adventure at Mont-Tremblant

We had another fantastic day on Saturday, August 1, during our exciting trip to Mont-Tremblant Resort, where a large group of travelers enjoyed an unforgettable summer adventure filled with fun, relaxation, and wonderful memories.

Our journey began at 11:00 a.m.as we departed from Ottawa toward the beautiful mountain village of Mont-Tremblant. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the village's vibrant atmosphere, bustling with visitors, music, and lively entertainment, creating the perfect setting for an enjoyable day.

The itinerary was designed to give everyone the freedom to spend the day their own way. Some participants enjoyed the amusement rides and recreational activities, while others explored the village's charming cafés and restaurants or shopped at its well-known boutiques and stores. Many also took advantage of the beautiful weather by relaxing outdoors, sharing conversations and laughter while surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery.

One of the highlights of the trip was riding the Panoramic Gondola, which offered spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and forests. The children added even more joy to the day as they played and explored throughout the resort.

At 8:00 p.m., everyone gathered once again after a day full of fun and relaxation, and we began our journey back to Ottawa, bringing home unforgettable memories, beautiful photos, and another successful adventure to add to our summer program.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this trip such a memorable experience.

We look forward to seeing you on **Saturday, August 8, for our fourth summer adventure as we visit the historic and picturesque Upper Canada Village for another unforgettable day together.

A New Adventure... Memories That Will Last a Lifetime!

Yesterday, Saturday, July 25, we had the pleasure of experiencing our second unforgettable journey to 1000 Islands together. Families and individuals from the Arab community, along with participants from many different nationalities, joined us for a day filled with friendship, warmth, and meaningful connections.

Our adventure began in Ottawa at 11:00 AM. Our first stop was a beautiful tourist destination, where everyone enjoyed lunch before exploring the breathtaking natural scenery, historic buildings, and fascinating maritime museums. Laughter, conversations, and new friendships created a warm family atmosphere that made the experience truly special.

At 3:00 PM, we headed to the cruise port to begin one of the highlights of the day. For more than two hours, we sailed through the spectacular 1000 Islands, passing magnificent castles and unique waterfront homes before reaching the U.S. side of the river. The breathtaking scenery left everyone amazed and created unforgettable memories.

On board the cruise, the atmosphere was simply incredible. Smiles, laughter, engaging conversations, new friendships, and countless photos captured moments that will be cherished for years to come. It was a day filled with joy, kindness, and beautiful memories shared by everyone.

Our heartfelt thanks go to everyone who joined us and made this adventure such a remarkable success. You are the reason these experiences become so special.
